Lunchtime in the city has never been so good (or affordable) and these ideally timed one-hour concerts mean you can relax and go behind the music with some of our country’s finest musicians as they take you on a journey and share with you their love of music.

Introduction to Jazz featuring Dr V’s Swing Thing. Featuring 20 of Sydney’s finest jazz musicians on trumpet, trombone, saxophone and rhythm, the band has music to suit all tastes and occasions.

Australian Chamber Orchestra with two one-hour concerts

City Recital Hall, Angel Place

Hear the most famous symphony ever, Beethoven's Symphony No.5, and see Principal Cellist Timo-Veikko Valve perform Schumann's Cello Concerto on his million dollar Guarneri cello. Richard Tognetti is soloist on his priceless Guarneri del Gesù violin in a work written especially for him, Vasks’ Vox Amoris, and directs Mozart's Jupiter Symphony.Tickets cost $40 for one concert or $65 for both.
